Advanced Motorcycle Training

A motorcycle Licence doesn’t necessarily make you an expert rider! Motorcycles are increasingly complex machines capable of performing at levels beyond the skill of most riders, advanced rider training is essential to ensure you get the most from your bike whilst keeping you safe.

Courses normally begin with a consultation, giving the instructor an insight into your objectives followed by a brief assessment ride to prioritize your aims. We can help you to develop skills and techniques, to improve control of your bike and ride safely, whilst exploring the potential of your machine. The training consists of a combination of riding & briefings – at a pace to suit you.

As members of the IAM we are also currently pursuing registration under the Post Test Motorcycle Instructors (RPMT) listing, ensuring your Advanced Training will be to the highest standard.


All course participants will receive a complimentary edition of The Police Riders handbook to better Motorcycling.

A2B Advanced Riding occurs at road legal speeds, however safe does not mean slow, and we would expect your progress and regular journey times to improve, your riding more rewarding, and probably less stressful!
